Damar Hamlin Honors First Responders Who Saved His Life at Emotional ESPY Awards

Damar Hamlin presented the Pat Tillman Award for Service to the Buffalo Bills training staff who gave him life-saving care when he went into cardiac arrest during a game in January.
Hamlin narrated a video expressing his gratitude and belief that anyone can be a hero by serving others.
Hamlin was brought to tears on stage while reuniting with the training staff and received a standing ovation.
The head athletic trainer accepted the award on behalf of the group and also thanked the medical specialists involved that night.
Hamlin has made a remarkable recovery, being cleared for football activities in April, and plans to return to playing after the incident.
