Overview

  • General manager Jim Nill announced that Seguin had a successful right ACL repair on Dec. 16 performed by Dr. Dan Cooper.
  • The injury occurred early in a Dec. 1 game at Madison Square Garden after a tangle with Rangers defenseman Vladislav Gavrikov, and Seguin needed help off the ice.
  • Dallas will reevaluate Seguin’s return-to-play timeframe after the Olympic break, leaving his regular-season status unresolved for now.
  • Coach Glen Gulutzan has said Seguin will be out for several months, and reporter Sean Shapiro has indicated he is likely done for the regular season with playoffs to be determined.
