Dallas-Fort Worth Schedules Fourth of July Fireworks as Drought Fears Ease

Organizers are highlighting enhanced safety protocols with family-friendly activities in response to eased wildfire risks.

Overview

  • Addison’s Kaboom Town! returns July 3 at Addison Circle Park with air show performances and one of the nation’s top three fireworks displays, drawing around 500,000 visitors annually.
  • Fort Worth’s Fourth is set for July 4 at Panther Island Pavilion with free admission, festival food, live music and a 9:30 p.m. fireworks show after gates open at 5 p.m.
  • Denton’s traditional fireworks are back at the North Texas Fairgrounds on July 3 after a two-year drone show hiatus, thanks to the Denton Noon Kiwanis Club.
  • None of North Texas is under drought conditions this year, reducing wildfire risk and enabling full-scale pyrotechnic events across the metroplex.
  • Most community displays are free and open to the public and feature additional attractions such as face painting, food trucks and live music.
