DAK Survey Finds Menopause Hinders One in Three Working Women in Germany

The insurer warns of nearly 40 million lost workdays each year, urging employers to offer targeted support.

  • Fifty-four percent of burdened women receive no support from employers; where available, help most often involves flexible hours (23%), exercise offers (14%) or relaxation courses (13%), with medical support at 9% and leadership sensitization at 2%.
