• Diana Reid is adapting Austen’s first published novel, which follows the Dashwood sisters through love, loss and financial hardship.
• The project is produced by Focus Features and Working Title Films alongside India Flint of November Pictures and Jo Wallett.
• Daisy Edgar-Jones, known for Normal People, Where the Crawdads Sing and Twisters, will portray Elinor Dashwood.
• Casting for Marianne Dashwood has not yet been confirmed.
