Overview

• An MoU was signed in Osaka between the Haryana government and Daikin under which the company will invest ₹1,000 crore to set up a new R&D centre in the state.
• The Daikin agreement was signed by Haryana’s Amit Kumar Agrawal and Daikin’s Shogo Endo in the presence of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.
• Kubota announced a ₹2,000 crore investment in collaboration with Escorts to expand agricultural equipment manufacturing in Haryana.
• Saini visited Kubota’s tractor plant in Osaka and held detailed talks on investment opportunities and technical collaboration for farm machinery production.
• Officials said the Daikin facility will be one of the company’s key research centres focused on advanced and sustainable technologies, as the state pitches single-window clearances, industrial clusters, strong transport links and reliable power to investors.
