The first fully animated, feature-length Looney Tunes film, The Day the Earth Blew Up, stars Daffy Duck and Porky Pig as unlikely heroes against an alien mind-control plot.
Voiced by Eric Bauza, Daffy and Porky uncover the invasion while working at a bubble gum factory, with comedic chaos and slapstick humor throughout the story.
The movie premiered at the Annecy International Animation Festival in June 2024 and had a U.S. premiere at the Animation Is Film Festival in October 2024.
Directed by Looney Tunes veteran Pete Browngardt, the film preserves the franchise's timeless comedic principles while incorporating contemporary elements like social media satire.
Distributed by Ketchup Entertainment after Warner Bros. Discovery sold the film, it will have a limited release starting December 13 before a nationwide debut on February 28.
