Overview
- Dacia unveiled the second‑generation Spring on Tuesday, confirming it uses Renault Group’s RG‑EV Small platform with a 60 kW (80 hp) motor and a 27.5 kWh LFP battery that gives about 250 km (155 miles) WLTP range.
- Production has moved from Dongfeng’s Wuhan plant to Renault’s Novo Mesto factory in Slovenia to avoid EU countervailing duties and regain access to national and EU subsidy schemes.
- Dacia targets a manufacturer price of roughly €17,900 with the full range priced under €20,000 before incentives and plans a market launch in late 2026 with first deliveries in early 2027.
