Dacia Sales Hold Steady as Renault Group Electrification Advances

  • Dacia’s H1 volume reached 356,084 units, marking a 0.7% decline that largely reflects Duster’s shift to Renault branding in Turkey.
  • Electrified models made up 23.9% of Dacia’s registrations with hybrid versions representing 17.6%, and the Spring EV logged a 62.5% year-on-year sales increase.
  • Sandero and Duster remained Europe’s top private-buyer choices with 151,948 and 108,510 sales respectively despite a 7.8% and 4.5% drop in deliveries.
  • The newly launched Bigster recorded 17,329 registrations and more than 38,000 orders in six months, with nearly 70% of buyers choosing hybrid powertrains.
  • Renault Group’s global sales rose 1.3% to 1,169,773 units in H1 with electrified models nearing 44% of the mix while Chinese brands jumped 91% to claim a 5.1% European market share.
