Dacia Launches Factory-Built Duster Cargo Van in UK and Coachbuilt Pick-Up in Romania

Orders open for electrified mild-hybrid 4x4 or new Hybrid 155, targeting value LCV buyers with a warranty-backed factory conversion.

Overview

  • UK-market Duster Cargo is N1-homologated and on sale now from £22,995 ex VAT (mild-hybrid 130 4×4) or £23,595 ex VAT (Hybrid 155), with first deliveries due before year-end.
  • Factory conversion replaces the rear seats with a flat wooden load floor, mesh bulkhead, four tie-downs, opaque rear-window film and a removable load cover for 1,149 litres of space and up to 430 kg payload.
  • Two powertrains bring clear trade-offs: the mild-hybrid 130 AWD manual offers 46.3 mpg, 410 kg payload and 1,500 kg braked towing, while the Hybrid 155 FWD auto delivers 59 mpg, 430 kg payload and 750 kg towing.
  • Sold in a single Expression trim, the van includes 17-inch alloys, a 10.1-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a 7-inch driver display and a suite of ADAS features.
  • Separately in Romania, a Romturingia-built Duster Pick-Up with four seats and a very small bed (about 1,050 mm by 1,000 mm) goes on sale from €25,983 before VAT, offering a 430 kg payload and a choice of Hybrid 140 FWD or mild-hybrid 130 4×4.
