D4vd Cancels Europe and U.K. Tour Dates as Homicide Investigation Advances

Detectives are reviewing evidence from a Hollywood Hills search following the identification of Celeste Rivas Hernandez.

Overview

  • Ticketing pages and venue notices show his October–November Europe and U.K. concerts are canceled, including statements from Paradiso in Amsterdam citing "unforeseen circumstances."
  • The artist scrapped the last U.S. shows on Friday, and Interscope halted promotion and delayed a planned deluxe release of Withered: Marcescence.
  • Authorities on Sept. 8 found a bagged, decomposed and dismembered body in the front trunk of a Tesla with Texas plates registered to D4vd, later identified as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez; cause and manner of death remain undetermined.
  • LAPD Robbery-Homicide executed a Sept. 17 warrant at a Hollywood Hills residence near where the car was abandoned, seizing a computer and multiple evidence bags for forensic analysis.
  • Police have not named a suspect and say Burke is cooperating, while brands pulled campaign content and unverified social-media posts and teacher accounts continue to circulate.
