  • Iemsysem reported that SIM distribution has reached 80% across 538 public campuses, with a total of 116,828 intended beneficiaries statewide.
  • A second registration window held March 17–20 added roughly 10,000 students, expanding the program’s reach across the state.

  • CFE donated 200,000 chips to power the rollout, and the state is paying for 116,000 data plans for registered students to boost access in both city neighborhoods and remote regions.
