D23 Sets Gold Member Livestream for Select Destination D23 Panels on Aug. 30–31

Viewers must tune in live at theater.d23.com because replays will not be offered.

Overview

  • The livestream windows run Saturday, Aug. 30, from 10:30 a.m.–12 p.m. ET and Sunday, Aug. 31, from 1:45–3:20 p.m. ET.
  • Saturday’s stream features a welcome with D23 head Michael Vargo, a Walt Disney Archives look at The Three Caballeros, an X Atencio conversation, and Disney on Broadway performances with Michael James Scott, Danny Gardner, and Susan Egan.
  • Sunday’s lineup includes a Disney Channel retrospective, a Walt Disney Archives “Around the Globe: China” segment, and Imagineering’s Beyond the Spires panel on Disney castles.
  • Access requires an active D23 Gold Membership (starting at $50) and a supported browser, with D23 recommending at least a 10 mb/s connection; Edge, Internet Explorer, Amazon Silk, and many smart TV browsers are not supported.
  • There is no dedicated parks keynote this year, and any theme park updates are expected to surface across other sessions, some of which are not part of the livestream, according to reporting.
