• New Mexico State Police responded on Sept. 23 to a report that a staff member hit a 16-year-old at a CYFD facility on Indian School Road NE in Albuquerque.
• Court records say the video shows Dajae Robinson, 32, grabbing the teen by the neck, punching her in the face, and attempting another strike before staff intervened.
• The teen was found bleeding from the lip and was transported to a hospital, where she was treated for minor injuries.
• According to court documents, the teen said she and another juvenile ran toward an ambulance, prompting a chase during which the altercation occurred.
• Robinson was taken into custody on an aggravated battery charge and transported to the Albuquerque Prisoner Transport Center.
