- The Portland Police Bureau’s Major Crash Team is investigating and asks anyone with information to email crimetips@police.portlandoregon.gov and reference case 25-297278.
- Within about two hours, two other separate fatal crashes occurred nearby: a man in a wheelchair was hit near NE 122nd and later died at a hospital, and a woman was fatally struck on NE 102nd; in both, the drivers stayed.
- All three incidents occurred on city-designated high-crash corridors in the Hazelwood area, and police are urging extra caution on dark fall evenings heading into Halloween.
