CD Projekt Red confirmed on social media that Cyberpunk 2077 will not receive a PS5 Pro patch, stating, 'We currently have no plans for [a] PS5 Pro patch.'
The decision has disappointed fans, some of whom expressed hope that the developer might reconsider in the future.
The lack of a PS5 Pro upgrade comes as CD Projekt Red has shifted its resources to developing the next Witcher game and a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077.
Many other major titles, such as Spider-Man 2 and Hogwarts Legacy, have received PS5 Pro patches, though some have faced technical issues post-update.
The PS5 Pro, launched earlier this month at a $700 price point, offers improved hardware designed to enhance frame rates and graphics in supported games.
