Overview

• The operation covered all Cyberabad traffic police stations with Miyapur recording the highest arrests at 52 individuals.
• Two-wheelers accounted for 242 of the detentions alongside 16 three-wheeler drivers and 47 four-wheeler drivers.
• Those aged 31–40 represented the largest age group with 116 offenders while 92 were between 21 and 30 years old.
• Blood alcohol concentrations ranged from 35 mg/100 ml to over 300 mg/100 ml, including 22 cases above 200 mg and three above 300 mg.
• The drive reinforces a wider national campaign that has previously targeted drunk driving in Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru.
