Overview

• Chhatarpur police arrested Panna CWC member Ashish Boss and are searching for other accused officials, including chairperson Bhanu Jharia.
• Investigators say the 15-year-old, recovered from Gurugram in February, was initially placed at a One Stop Centre after her family declined to take her home.
• In March, the Panna CWC sent her to a cousin who is the accused’s sister-in-law, and the accused, Ram Prasad Kushwaha, later obtained bail and lived in the same house.
