CUET PG 2026 Testing Window Opens Nationwide Under Tight Verification Rules

Biometric verification with firm gate closures anchors the agency’s management of the multi-shift rollout.

Overview

  • The NTA began the computer-based exam cycle on March 6, with tests scheduled through March 27 across designated centres in two to three shifts daily, totaling 44 shifts.
  • Advance examination city intimation slips are out for March 11–13 candidates, while admit cards for March 6–10 were issued earlier, with further releases continuing in phases.
  • Candidates must bring a printed admit card, one original government photo ID, and two passport photos, and they will be denied entry after the gate-closing time listed on the admit card.
  • Applicants who did not register via Aadhaar or whose authentication did not match must report at least one hour before gate closure and ensure Aadhaar biometric authentication is unlocked.
  • Centres are under live CCTV surveillance with jammers, prohibited items include electronics and study material with limited allowances for diabetic candidates, and each test runs 90 minutes with 75 questions marked +4/−1.
