Cubs Introduce Baby Blue Uniforms Honoring Chicago Blues and Team History

The Chicago Cubs have unveiled new baby blue alternate uniforms, marking the first return of the color to their rotation since 1981.
The jerseys will debut on April 5, 2025, during the Cubs' first home series of the season against the Padres, and will be worn on Fridays throughout the summer.
The design pays tribute to both the Cubs' early-to-mid 1900s logos and the Chicago blues music movement, incorporating elements inspired by vintage music equipment brands.
Unique features include a sleeve patch shaped like a guitar pick, socks with guitar string stripes, and typography reminiscent of the blues era.
The uniforms will replace the navy 'Wrigleyville' City Connect jerseys and will be available for purchase at Cubs Convention and the team store starting January 17, 2025.
