Cubs' All-Star Shortstop Dansby Swanson Placed on Injured List

Dansby Swanson, shortstop for the Chicago Cubs, has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a left heel contusion.
Swanson was already ruled out of the All-Star Game due to the injury which occurred during Wednesday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
The Cubs have called up Miles Mastrobuoni from Triple-A Iowa to replace Swanson.
Swanson signed a seven-year $177 million contract with the Cubs in the offseason and is batting .258 with 10 home runs and 36 RBIs in 83 games this season.
The Cubs anticipate Swanson will miss 10 days, the minimum stay on the injured list.
