Overview
- From October 2024 to July 2025, the actions formed part of the Blindar Cuauhtémoc strategy to recover public space and improve mobility.
- Roughly 2,000 people were presented for civic infractions in the same period, including 618 for consuming alcohol or drugs in public and 129 for littering, as well as cases of fights, property damage, pet waste and graffiti.
- Applicable penalties include admonitions, fines of up to 40 Unidades de Medida (4,525 pesos), arrests of up to 36 hours or equivalent periods of community work.
- About 50 community work sessions were carried out in various neighborhoods, where infractors participated in cleaning and rehabilitating public spaces in coordination with the Dirección Ejecutiva de Justicia Cívica.
- In recent operations some detainees were found with drugs, and local authorities credited the Policía Auxiliar while calling for sustained supervision.
