- The information bulletin is expected to outline eligibility, paper pattern, application fees, syllabus, dates, and certificate guidelines.
- After registrations open, CBSE is expected to offer a correction window, then issue exam-city slips and admit cards before conducting the test.
- CTET is a pen-and-paper MCQ exam with no negative marking, offered as Paper I and Paper II, typically held in two shifts.
- For Paper I (Classes I–V), candidates need a two-year D.El.Ed or equivalent; for Paper II (Classes VI–VIII), a bachelor’s degree with B.Ed or an approved integrated education degree is required.
- Assam education minister Ranoj Pegu said Samagra Shiksha Assam has published a shortlist of CTET-qualified candidates, with document verification set for October 29 to November 1 at the SSA State Mission Office in Kahilipara under a Gauhati High Court directive.
