Overview

• CTD identified Mohammad Naeem, also known as Abdul Nasir, and Mohammad Karim of Karak as alleged masterminds of the Chamkani suicide bombing.
• The third dead suspect was named as Noor Nabi, an Afghan national from Nangarhar who was described as affiliated with ISKP.
• The SWAT-led raid in the Ali Masjid/Lala Cheena area followed a tip-off and sparked about 30 minutes of gunfire after militants opened fire.
• Officers recovered three sub-machine guns, 12 magazines, 135 rounds of ammunition and three bandoliers at the hideout.
