Overview
- The provisional answer key released on August 3 attracted paid challenges at a non-refundable fee per question and is now being examined by a panel of subject experts whose decisions will apply universally without individual updates.
- Final answer key and CSIR UGC NET June 2025 results are expected soon on csirnet.nta.ac.in, where candidates can download their scorecards using application numbers and dates of birth.
- Results will be declared in percentile alongside raw or normalized marks, with scores for multi-shift subjects equated via the equi-percentile method.
- NTA’s marking policy applies subject-wise negative marking, awards points only to those who attempted questions later deemed incorrect, and grants full credit for any correct option in multiple-answer items except in Part C of the Mathematical Sciences section.
- June session outcomes will determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowships, Assistant Professor roles and PhD admission, with JRF qualifiers entitled to ₹37,000 per month plus an annual ₹20,000 grant.
