Overview
- Crypto.com and OG.com rolled out the new perpetual contracts on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, for eligible U.S. retail traders using the Crypto.com App and Crypto.com Exchange.
- The launch lists five contracts at start—BTC, ETH, SOL, HYPE and ZEC—and caps leverage at 5x to limit exposure compared with higher-leverage offshore venues.
- The products operate through registered entities: North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc. as the exchange and clearinghouse and Foris DAX Inc. and Foris DAX FCM, LLC as the broker and futures commission merchant.
- Customer protections include onboarding risk surveys, isolated-margin accounts with one master and one sub-account per user, segregated customer funds at the FCM, and a fee-waiver promotion through November 26 that does not cover funding payments.
- The rollout follows earlier U.S. entries by firms such as Kraken, Coinbase and Kalshi and signals a broader industry shift to bring perpetual-style futures into regulated U.S. channels while retaining mechanics like funding payments and immediate liquidations that pose material retail risk.
