Crunchyroll Launches Free 24-Hour Demon Slayer Marathon Ahead of Infinity Castle’s Western Debut

Crunchyroll kicks off a 24-hour free marathon on YouTube featuring every Demon Slayer episode, films plus the Infinity Castle trailer in Japanese with subtitles for weeklong on-demand viewing ahead of its Sept. 11 Western debut.

  • Starting August 16 at 10:00 AM PT, Crunchyroll will stream all 63 episodes and related Demon Slayer films live on its YouTube channel with Japanese audio and English subtitles, complete with interactive live chat.
  • The marathon will run continuously and the entire lineup will remain available as a video-on-demand for seven days after the live event concludes, giving viewers flexible access.
  • Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle opened in Japan on July 18 and became the fastest film to reach ¥10 billion in 10 days, with global box-office earnings of about $143 million so far.
  • The free YouTube event is timed to refresh veteran fans and draw in newcomers ahead of Infinity Castle’s North and Latin American theatrical releases on September 11 and 12.
  • Studio Ufotable has announced Infinity Castle as the first installment of a three-part finale and has reportedly cast Channing Tatum and Rebecca Wang in its English dub.
