Crunchyroll Anime Streaming Service Now Available on Amazon Prime Video Channels

Amazon Prime users can now directly subscribe to Crunchyroll through the Prime Video store, with options for Fan or Mega Fan memberships at $8 and $10 per month respectively; service currently available in the US, UK, Canada, and Sweden, with additional regions to be added in 2024.

  • Amazon Prime Video now offers Crunchyroll as an add-on channel, allowing Prime subscribers access to the anime streaming service's extensive library without switching apps.
  • Users can subscribe to Crunchyroll's $8 per month Fan membership or the $10 per month Mega Fan membership directly through the Prime Video store, with no difference in price compared to subscribing directly to Crunchyroll.
  • Both the Fan and Mega Fan subscriptions provide ad-free access to Crunchyroll's collection of over 1300 anime series and films, and the Mega Fan subscription also includes offline viewing and allows streaming on up to four devices.
  • Crunchyroll, which has over 11 million subscribers, is currently available as a Prime Video Channel in the US, UK, Canada, and Sweden, and it plans to expand to more regions in 2024.
  • Unlike the standalone Crunchyroll app that offers three subscription tiers, the Prime Video channel offers only the Fan and Mega Fan options and excludes the free tier.
