Overview
- On August 3, 2023, Andrew Claridge-Fleming left four dogs crated in his Land Rover Discovery at his Hampshire farm during a heatwave and was unexpectedly called away for seven hours
- Milo the Labrador, Bodger the cocker spaniel and a cockapoo named Rocky all died of heat exhaustion while a fourth cocker spaniel survived after emergency veterinary treatment
- Claridge-Fleming told Bournemouth Crown Court he believed he had left the boot and a door open but returned to find the boot closed and the dogs unresponsive
