The main cast will include Sarah Catherine Hook, Zac Burgess, Savannah Lee Smith, Sara Silva, Khobe Clarke, John Harlan Kim, Brooke Lena Johnson, and Sean Patrick Thomas.
Previous attempts to adapt 'Cruel Intentions' for TV include a scrapped spinoff series by Fox and a sequel series by NBC that was ultimately not aired.
The series is set to premiere on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide, though a specific release date has not been announced.
