Overview
- RMT members in customer-facing roles will strike on Saturday, November 1, leading to severely limited CrossCountry services.
- All routes will be affected, with some areas seeing no service and trains that run finishing much earlier.
- No CrossCountry trains will call at Wolverhampton, Worcestershire Parkway, Wakefield Westgate or Chesterfield on the day.
- Calls will be restricted at Stockport, Macclesfield, Oxford and Basingstoke, so passengers should check revised timetables.
- Engineering work will also affect Birmingham–Reading and Leeds–Darlington corridors, and the operator says it remains available for talks with the RMT.
