Both the defence and prosecution agree a sexual encounter occurred, but the prosecution argues it was non-consensual.
Defence lawyer Megan Savard has accused the complainant of fabricating her story and inconsistencies between her testimony and earlier statements to police.
The complainant has repeatedly denied the defence's suggestions that she was hoping to have sex with Hoggard and has become visibly emotional during the cross-examination.
