Overview

• Russia’s Defense Ministry said air defenses downed five drones over Belgorod region and two over Kursk between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time on October 11.
• Belgorod’s governor reported multiple UAV and FPV strikes that damaged homes, vehicles and infrastructure, with two civilians injured and warnings of short rolling power outages after evening interceptions.
• In Kursk region, regional updates said an FPV drone hit a moving motorcycle in Nizhne-Makhovo, killing an 81-year-old man, and separate drone attacks wounded other residents.
