Cristiano Ronaldo Wins Trio of Honors at Globe Soccer Awards 2023

Ronaldo, uncertain about retirement, criticizes credibility of Ballon d'Or and The Best FIFA awards

Cristiano Ronaldo, playing for Al-Nassr, recently won three awards at the Globe Soccer Awards 2023: the Maradona Award, the Best Middle East Player award, and the Fans' Favourite Player of the Year recognition.
Ronaldo has scored 54 goals in 59 combined matches for Al-Nassr and Portugal in 2023, and 30 goals in 31 matches for Al-Nassr so far this season.
In a recent interview, Ronaldo expressed uncertainty about his retirement plans, stating he could retire at the end of the season or continue playing for another two or three years.
Ronaldo criticized the credibility of the Ballon d'Or and The Best FIFA awards, stating he no longer believes in these awards and did not watch the ceremony where Lionel Messi won The Best FIFA Men's Player 2023 award.
Ronaldo's contract with Al-Nassr is set to expire in June 2025, and he has ruled out a return to play in the Portuguese League.
