Cristiano Ronaldo Was Once Offered to Eintracht Frankfurt, Says Club Official

Markus Krösche, Eintracht Frankfurt's sporting director, revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo was offered to the club after their 2022 Europa League victory.
Ronaldo's representatives provided a financial plan for the transfer, but the club quickly dismissed the idea, deeming it impractical for their scale and resources.
Krösche noted that signing Ronaldo would have significantly changed the club's operations, including logistical adjustments due to increased media attention.
Ronaldo ultimately joined Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr in 2023, where he reportedly earns €200 million annually and is expected to extend his contract through 2026.
Krösche also disclosed that he had shown interest in signing Erling Haaland in 2018 during his tenure at Paderborn, but the club lacked the financial means to secure the deal.
