Having been with NBC since 2006, Collinsworth is the longest-tenured lead NFL analyst at any network, following Troy Aikman's move to ESPN.
Potential replacements, had Collinsworth not extended, included Fox's Greg Olsen and NFL coaches like Sean McVay and Mike Tomlin.
