  • Chicago police say Gabriela Ochoa, 31, was shot around 8:40 p.m. on Aug. 16 near Palmisano Park in the 800 block of West 27th Street.
  • The gunman fired from a dark-colored sedan while riding with others who were attempting to rob her.
  • Ochoa was shot in the chest, taken to Stroger Hospital, and pronounced dead; no one is in custody as Area One detectives investigate.
