Crime Branch Detains Four in Kashmir Land Records Fraud After Tehsildar’s Bail Revocation

With evidence pointing to coordinated land record manipulation in Srinagar, Budgam, four suspects have been detained as three revenue officers evade arrest.

The arrested persons have been identified as Riyaz Ahmad Bhat, of Nowgam, Srinagar, Mohammad Shafi Lone, of Peerbagh, Srinagar, Shahnawaz Ahmad Rather, of Padshahi Bagh Srinagar and Shabir Ahmad Wani, of Bagandar Lasjan. (File)
