  • Dilip Doshi died of cardiac arrest in London on June 23 at the age of 77.
  • He debuted for India at 32 and went on to take 114 wickets in 33 Tests and 22 in 15 ODIs between 1979 and 1983.
  • Doshi’s defining moment came at the 1981 Melbourne Cricket Ground when he bowled through a fractured toe to claim five wickets and secure victory.
