  • After a weather delay on July 31, SpaceX’s Falcon 9 lifted off from Kennedy Space Center at 11:43 UTC on August 1.
  • Crew Dragon separated normally about ten minutes post-launch and is scheduled to dock with the ISS in the early hours of August 2.
  • Yui is returning to space for the first time since his 2015 mission, marking a decade between flights.
  • Following docking, the incoming crew will complete a handover with ISS commander Takuya Onishi and begin experiments for future lunar missions.
