Overview
- Total War: Medieval 3 was officially unveiled during the 25th Anniversary Showcase and is in early pre-production, described as a rebirth of historical Total War.
- Creative Assembly did not provide a release window or platform list and says it will share development updates periodically.
- Warcore, a new evolution of the studio’s proprietary engine, was announced to modernize tools and enable future Total War releases on PlayStation and Xbox as well as PC.
- Total War: Warhammer 3 will receive the Lords of the End Times DLC next summer, adding Nagash and other Legendary Lords, alongside a free End Times update that reshapes the campaign.
- A separate Total War title will be revealed at The Game Awards on December 11, presented as the series’ next major release and one of its most ambitious projects.
