Investigators are evaluating reports of sudden acceleration after hospitals identified the motorcycle riders and a 60-year-old pedestrian as the most seriously hurt.

  • Emergency teams sent four ambulances from service 107, police sealed off the area, and traffic was halted for hours as bystanders helped rescue a victim trapped under the vehicle.
  • The 36-year-old driver was detained and taken to Comisaría 1ª, prosecutors have not yet defined charges or continued detention, and the car’s vehicle inspection was reportedly expired though the driver’s license was valid.
