• Walter Gabriel Banegas, 35, had slept inside a public container during rain and cold in the Nueva Córdoba neighborhood.
• The LAM collection crew emptied the bin, the compactor started automatically, and the truck traveled about 300 meters along Avenida Vélez Sarsfield.
• Workers and passersby heard his screams from the truck and stopped the mechanism before alerting authorities.
• Policía de Córdoba and the DUAR unit carried out the rescue, and a 107 ambulance transported him on a spinal board to Hospital Misericordia.
