- Cybercrime prosecutor Franco Pilnik ordered the detention on Tuesday of Germán Eduardo Peralta, 43, in the case centered on the Jefatura de Policía building in Córdoba.
- Peralta was formally charged with repeated violation of domicile and grievous bodily harm aggravated by gender-based violence.
- A search of his home seized a cellphone, two computers and external storage, and forensic analysis confirmed photos and videos apparently taken in the Jefatura bathrooms.
- The investigation began in late July when an officer spotted a hand holding a phone through a concealed hole behind a toilet in the women’s restroom of the Medicine Laboral area.
- At least three, possibly four, female officers filed complaints, Internal Affairs is pursuing an administrative case that could lead to expulsion, and investigators are examining whether there were accomplices with no indications so far.
