Overview
- About 13,200 Isla Rae magnetic wireless chargers were recalled in the U.S. after regulators said the units can explode during use, creating fire and burn hazards.
- The devices were sold nationwide at T.J. Maxx and Marshalls from June 2024 through November 2025 for about $15 in white, pink, and purple.
- Affected products are marked model RM5PBM with the label “5000 mAh 3.7V,” and they attach magnetically to phones.
- Consumers are instructed to stop using the chargers, register for a refund at recallrtr.com/powerbank, and contact recall administrator RealTime Results for assistance.
- The CPSC warns not to place the lithium‑ion devices in household trash or curbside recycling, advising disposal via designated battery collection boxes or municipal hazardous waste centers, and no injuries have been reported.
