Overview

  • On June 18, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of about 100,000 Crayan mattresses sold on Amazon from July 2022 through June 2024
  • The 10- and 12-inch twin, full, queen and king models were found to violate open-flame flammability requirements and risk ignition
  • Consumers are advised to stop using the affected mattresses immediately and contact Crayan at [email protected] to secure a full refund
  • Owners must permanently label the white quilted top with the word “Recalled” in large print and submit a photo of the marked mattress to Crayan’s service email
  • The single-sided mattresses, made in Japan and priced between $100 and $220, feature gray side panels with the brand name and have caused no reported injuries
