CPSC Orders Nationwide Recall of Amazon-Sold Romorgniz Dressers and Anna Queen Play Yards Over Child Safety Risks

The action enforces federal safety rules for children’s gear sold on online marketplaces.

Overview

  • Regulators said Romorgniz Fabric 12- and 13-drawer dressers violate the STURDY Act stability standard and can tip over if not anchored, creating tip-over and entrapment hazards.
  • About 1,980 Romorgniz units are affected, covering models R99MWM12CHMW and R99M9C4CLHW sold on Amazon from July through October 2025 for roughly $80 to $140.
  • CPSC also recalled about 70 Anna Queen Play Yards that violate the federal play yard standard, warning infants can become trapped under the mattress or between the side and mattress, risking deadly suffocation.
  • The recalled play yard is model P700 with production date 202503, sold on Amazon since March 2025 for about $100 to $110, and can be identified on the packaging and a removable tag.
  • Consumers should stop using both products immediately, follow destruction/disposal steps, and email photo proof for refunds (Romorgnizrecall@outlook.com for the dressers; tingerservice@outlook.com for the play yard); no injuries have been reported to date.
