CPSC Orders Nationwide Recall of Amazon-Sold Dresser and Play Yard Over Child Safety Risks

The action cites violations of mandatory federal safety standards, including the STURDY Act stability rule for dressers.

Overview

  • About 1,980 Romorgniz fabric 12- and 13-drawer dressers, models R99MWM12CHMW and R99M9C4CLHW, were recalled for instability when not anchored that can cause tip-over and entrapment hazards to children.
  • Roughly 70 Anna Queen play yards, model P700 with production date 202503, were recalled for entrapment under the mattress or between the side and mattress that can lead to deadly suffocation.
  • The dressers were sold on Amazon from July through October 2025 for about $80 to $140, and the play yards were sold beginning in March 2025 for about $100 to $110.
  • Consumers are told to stop using the products and pursue refunds by following disposal steps and emailing photos: Romorgnizrecall@outlook.com for dressers, and tingerservice@outlook.com after cutting up the play yard cover and mattress pad.
  • The recalls identify China-based Baituo Innovation Technology Co. Ltd. (Romorgniz) and Guangzhou Tinger Trading Co. Ltd. (Anna Queen) as the manufacturers, and no incidents or injuries had been reported to the CPSC as of November 20.
