Overview
- Police say two attacks occurred about an hour apart on Nov. 22, at 2:32 a.m. in the 2600 block of North Sawyer Avenue and at 3:23 a.m. in the 3100 block of West Schubert Avenue.
- In each case, the attacker approached from behind, used verbal threats and physical force to restrain the victims, and fled after nearby residents responded to the victims’ screams.
- Investigators characterize sexual assault as the likely motive in both incidents.
- The suspect is described as a Hispanic man wearing dark gray jeans, a gray hooded sweatshirt with green and black trim, and a gray or black ski mask, standing 5'9" to 5'10" with a thin build and medium to dark complexion.
