CPC Restarts Novorossiysk Loading After Drone Attacks on Tankers

Overview

• The Caspian Pipeline Consortium has resumed taking oil from shippers and loading at its Novorossiysk marine terminal with the tankers SEAMAJESTY and MILOS taking Tengizchevroil crude.
• The restart allows Kazakh producers to resume delivering feedstock into the CPC pipeline and to reopen exports that were paused when shipments stopped.
• Shipments were suspended after a series of drone attacks on tankers chartered to carry Kazakh oil, which led producers to temporarily cut output to avoid filling storage.
• The Energy Ministry said further terminal operations will proceed only after situational assessments and that it remains in constant contact with CPC management, major shippers, and other stakeholders.
